Included at no cost

RE/MAX Tranquilli-T protection for your transaction

When your posting date can’t move, a delayed sale or purchase gets expensive. Your residential transaction with me includes Tranquilli-T, the protection program offered by participating RE/MAX brokers, at no cost to you.

Delay and withdrawal

If the transaction is delayed or cancelled (financing withdrawn, fire, certificate of location issue…): temporary housing, storage and moving-company penalties covered for up to 180 days, after a $300 deductible.

Legal assistance

Unlimited calls with Quebec Bar lawyers during the protection period, plus guidance for small claims and amicable settlements.

Death

Coverage included in the program in case of death during the transaction, for your family.

RE/MAX Québec program offered by participating brokers, underwritten by the Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island. Eligible residential properties in Quebec (new construction excluded); conditions, limits and exclusions apply.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use a SIRVA (formerly BGRS) network realtor?

Your relocation counsellor will explain the rules for your file. Working with a realtor who is already part of the SIRVA network (formerly BGRS) avoids delays: the paperwork, commission rates and timelines of the program are already familiar. I am a member of that network.

Is the welcome tax reimbursed when I buy?

For CAF members, the land transfer tax (welcome tax) is reimbursed from the Core Account, along with legal fees for the purchase. RCMP members are reimbursed legal costs needed to obtain clear title, including that tax. Use my calculator to know the exact amount for your city before you buy.

How do I make the most of my house hunting trip?

Call me as soon as you receive your posting message. We shortlist neighbourhoods by commute, I send you the matching properties and video tours before you travel, and your days on site are spent visiting only serious options, with an offer ready to go.

I am leaving the South Shore. Can you sell my house?

Yes. Selling the residence of a member who is posted elsewhere is part of my relocation service: market value analysis, strategy adapted to your move date, and coordination with your relocation counsellor.

Do you serve Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Saint-Hubert?

Yes: Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Garrison, Royal Military College), Iberville, Chambly, Carignan, and the Longueuil area including Saint-Hubert (438 Squadron), Brossard, Saint-Lambert and Saint-Bruno.
