When your posting date can’t move, a delayed sale or purchase gets expensive. Your residential transaction with me includes Tranquilli-T, the protection program offered by participating RE/MAX brokers, at no cost to you.

Delay and withdrawal

If the transaction is delayed or cancelled (financing withdrawn, fire, certificate of location issue…): temporary housing, storage and moving-company penalties covered for up to 180 days, after a $300 deductible.

Legal assistance

Unlimited calls with Quebec Bar lawyers during the protection period, plus guidance for small claims and amicable settlements.

Death

Coverage included in the program in case of death during the transaction, for your family.

RE/MAX Québec program offered by participating brokers, underwritten by the Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island. Eligible residential properties in Quebec (new construction excluded); conditions, limits and exclusions apply.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a SIRVA (formerly BGRS) network realtor?

Your relocation counsellor explains the rules for your file. A realtor already in the network knows the forms, pre-negotiated rates and timelines: fewer delays and fewer reimbursement issues. I am a member of that network.

Is the Quebec welcome tax reimbursed?

Yes, the Directive reimburses the land transfer tax (welcome tax) from the Core Account when you buy your new home. My calculator gives you the exact amount for each city.

Can I keep my house and rent it out?

Yes. The Real Estate Incentive pays 80% of the commission that would have been payable on the appraised value, up to $12,000, if you waive sale-cost reimbursements. I help you compare both options with real numbers.

My home is worth less than I paid. What happens?

Home Equity Assistance covers 80% of the loss, up to $30,000 from the Core Account. A strong sale strategy is still your best protection: every dollar counts.

Do you work in English?

Yes. I serve military families in English and French, from the first search to the notary signing.
